The cooperation for
software development is continued
A new specialist from the Ukraine is visiting LUM
Berlin, 20.02.2006: L.U.M. GmbH, Berlin, world-wide leading producer of analytical devices
for direct and rapid stability analysis and particle characterization of dispersions has recently developed
a measuring interface for the registration and analysis of demixing phenomena. This very complex interface works
on the basis of a database solution.
„Important know-how was obtained from the cooperation with the International
Research and Training Center for Information Technologies and Systems in Kiev, part of the Ukrainian National
Academy of Sciences “, states Prof. Lerche, Managing Director of L.U.M. GmbH. „On the basis of this cooperation
in the years 2000-2002, LUM is constantly expanding.“
„We are pleased to welcome now Mr. Volodymyr Osadchyy as scientific co-worker for the next two years. He will
contribute to our department of software qualification“, continues Prof. Lerche. This R&D cooperation with the
company SANA Ltd. from Kiev is supported by the programme PRO INNO, organized by the AiF –project executing
organization of the German government.

Why young international graduates work in Adlershof
Berlin, 16.12.2005: L.U.M. GmbH, Berlin, world-wide leading producer
of analytical devices for direct and rapid stability analysis and
particle characterization of dispersions offers traineeships within
the European Leonardo da Vinci programme since 2002. The trainees
are actively involved in the business processes of this company producing
investment goods.
"For the first time we have now 3 trainees at LUM in parallel, besides
15 full-time employees. It has begun with the successful cooperation
with the University of Miskolc, Hungary, which is traditionally in
the field of marketing ", states Prof. Lerche, Managing Director of
L.U.M. GmbH.
"Additionally this year, we have selected two further graduates from
Spain and Portugal for our research and development", continues Prof.
Lerche. "We obtain important support from trainees in the non-producing
processes. The decision for the Leonardo programme is regarded as
part of our investment in the future of our company as well as in
in the young people." |

Klara Bagoly (Master in
Economics from Hungary) extends her international experiences within
the 8 months marketing-traineeship at L.U.M. and actively participates
in the business processes. "Especially, I do enjoy the adantages of
a small but powerful company and gain insight into all fields", she
says happily and expects positive influences on her future career.
Nelson Pereira Quintas, Chemical Engineer from Portugal, gains his
first professional experiences at L.U.M. and esteems the high flexibility,
fast decision processes and the appreciation of his work. "Here, I
am able to make an important contribution to actual solutions and
decisions."
For the Chemist Raúl Montalvo from Spain the selection of Europe's
most modern science and technology park Adlershof for his 6 month-work
was a must, moreover he enjoys the benefits of the attractive metropolis
Berlin. |
