"From dispersibility via stability to the secrets of sediments – multistep analysis of purifying facial clay"
A multistep procedure helps to understand particle dispersibility, separation behaviour under accelerated conditions as well as concentration gradients in separated phases.
The patented STEP-Technology®is applied at earth gravity and at higher gravity, using an X-radiation source respectively a NIR-light source to characterize facial clays in original concentration, containing minerals and / or inorganic pigments.
The sample is filled in original concentration into one cell and undergoes three independent
subsequent measurements. With the combined results, the faster and easier formulation, reformulation as well as quality assurance and quality control are enabled.
